At the Annual Chamber Trade Show Breakfast on June 14, the Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce honored many of the 2007 scholarship winners.
Over the last seven years, the chamber has awarded almost $250,000 in scholarships to local students.
The 2007 scholarship winners are: Victoria Tanuous, Rudie Cyr, Allison Fogues, and Eric Morrow from Edward Little High School; Jessica Fortin, Matthew Gutshall, Celena Turmel, and Desiree Wuthenow from Lewiston High School; Lauriane Laliberte and Brittany Duncan from Leavitt Area High School; Colleen Weddle and Andrea Wrede from Lisbon High School; Bethany Latulippe from Oak Hill High School; and Emily Lewandowski and Joseph Therialult from St. Dominic Regional High School.
The adult scholarship winners in 2007 are Bethany Webster of Auburn Children’s House, David Cushman of HE Callahan Construction, and Michelle Latham of Androscoggin Bank.
