Flags from most of the 50 states are now flying on the dam of the Androscoggin River, marking the July 4th celebration set for Wednesday. Following a day filled with a variety of events, fireworks will be launched over the reflection pool of the river at dusk. Flags from the Revolutionary War era, along with a copy of the U.S. Constitution, will also be on display at Veterans Memorial Park and the rotary.
