The George Armstrong Custer Post, Grand Army of the Republic Association, conducted authentic civil war ceremonies at the gravesite of Pvt. Stephen Marriner in Riverside Cemetery, Lewiston. Marriner died in December 1864 as a prisoner of war in the Confederate prison located in Salisbury, N.C.
