AUBURN – A number of Central Maine Community College summer camps will be starting in July and August.

All camps run for one week, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (unless otherwise noted). All camps are supervised by experienced staff, and lunch and T-shirts are provided to all participants.

In addition to the particular camp focus, the aspirational “camp-to-college” experiences also expose children to a college campus environment.

Some of the July camps include School of Rock Music, “CM Idol” Dance and Performance Camp, Extreme All-Sports Camp, All-ports Camp (less competitive, nontraditional sports), Arts and Crafts Camp, Beach Camp (campers visit a different beach every day), baseball, softball, basketball and soccer, Arts on the Lake, Junior Police and Computer.

Camps starting in August include all-sports, nature and the MAINEiacs hockey camps.
