Dear Sun Spots: I am hoping to reach some of the Crockett descendants. I’m specifically looking for descendants of Ephraim Crockett and David Crockett who lived in Danville, Maine, between 1790 and 1875 and who farmed on South River Road.

If anyone has any information I’d love to hear from you. I can be reached via post or e-mail at P.O. Box 940, Mt. Eliza, Victoria 3930, Australia, e-mail dcpl@bluemail.com.au. Many thanks to readers for your assistance. – David Nelson Crockett, Victoria, Australia.

Dear Sun Spots: I hope you can please find the owner of Computers Plus at 31 Green St., Norway. I purchased a 17-inch LCD flat monitor and have yet to receive it. I stopped by the store and the owner is no longer there. I have made numerous phone calls leaving more than 12 messages. I have expressed a refund of $230.95, with no reply. Can you please help me? I am in a financial bind and need my refund. – Carol, No Town.

Answer:
Sun Spots left several messages with the gentleman above and has not received any response. You might consider checking in with Pine Tree Legal or check with Small Claims Court.

Dear Sun Spots: I have lots of stamps to give away. I’ve seen in the paper that Sister Boisvert from Methuen was asking for stamps. I lost her address and am hoping you could please print it again so that I can send the stamps to her. Thank you. – No Name, No Town.

Answer:
Sun Spots is sure that sister will be thrilled with your stamps donation. Don’t forget to keep a border around your canceled stamps. Any collections of foreign and U.S. commemorative stamps or old stamp albums are welcome. Mail your stamps, again leaving a border around the canceled stamps, to Sr. Gilberte Boisvert, 209 Lawrence St., Ste. Claire, Methuen, MA 01844.

Dear Sun Spots: I hear that Campbell Brown of the Today Show is expecting. When is her due date and is it a boy or a girl? – No Name, No Town.

Answer: According to several Web sites, Brown and husband Dan Senor of FOX are expecting but no mention is made of either a due date or the sex of the child.

Some sites note that Brown would like to know the sex of the child, while her husband would rather not until the birth. The TV Guide Web site notes that Brown will likely be at another television station by the time of the birth. This is the couple’s first child.
