The top fundraising walker for the Central/Western Maine Heart Walk in Lewiston for the past four years, Ray Gamache, presented Androscoggin Bank with an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) on July 10. Phillips Medical Systems awarded Gamache the AED to place at a location of his choice in recognition of his fundraising efforts for the American Heart Association. The bank’s emergency team, trained to perform CPR and use the AED if needed, also attended the ceremony. From the left are Gamache; Roberta Zimmerman, association staff; and Steve Closson, president and CEO of Androscoggin Bank.
