LEWISTON – A local man was arrested Sunday night after leading officers on a short car-chase in the Bartlett-and-Maple-streets area, Sgt. Jim Minkowski said. “It’s still under investigation,” Minkowski said, a few minutes after 19-year-old driver Justin Strout was arrested and charged with operating after suspension.
“The brief chase started in the area of Bartlett and Birch and ended on Maple,” he said. “I don’t know yet what the cause (of the chase) was, but it was relatively low speed.”
