AUBURN – Lucien A. Jacques, 89, of Barker Arms, Auburn, died Tuesday, July 24, at the Hospice House.

He was born on Nov. 17, 1917, in Lewiston, the son of Henri and Alice (Masse) Jacques.

He was a member of the Acme Club and was an avid horse-racing fan. He worked for many years at Miller Industries and was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union.

He is survived by his nephew and caregiver, Gil Carrier; nephews, Larry, Jerry and Danny; nieces, Donna, Lorraine, Therese, and husband, Norm; and many cousins.

He was predeceased by his wife, Blanche; brothers, Henry, Rene, Lionel, Roger, Robert, and Roland; and sister, Rita.
