RUMFORD – Robin Gilbert, RN, MSN, CEN, has assumed the role of nurse manager for Rumford Hospital’s Emergency Department.

She received her undergraduate degree from Currey College, Milton, Mass., and her master of science in nursing from St. Joseph’s College of Maine. Gilbert is a certified emergency nurse and is the chair-elect of the national Board Certification of Emergency Nurses.

She is an instructor in trauma nurse core, emergency pediatric nurse core, pediatric advanced life support, advanced cardiac life support and basic life support. She served as a major in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps.

Gilbert lives in Bethel with her daughter.
