LEWISTON – Mr. Bernard’s School of Hair Fashions Inc., 711 Lisbon St., announces that Patty Thomas of Oxford has been selected as a judge for the student competition being held at their annual celebration banquet. Students from Bernard’s will be competing in four categories. The judging will be held Aug. 4.

Thomas is a 1977 graduate of Pierre’s School of Cosmetology. For the past 26 years, she has owned Hair & Company in Norway, where she works as a stylist.

During her career, she has worked for Matrix, specialized in perming and coloring hair for platform artists. She has also educated stylists in the use of Sunglitz, a highlighting system by Faroke. She often attends hair shows and classes to further her education.
