AUBURN – Leah Bartley, a financial consultant with A.G. Edwards & Sons Inc., 95 Main St., completed training for the title of chartered retirement planning counselor. Bartley earned the title after completing a training course offered through the College for Financial Planning.

To become a chartered retirement planning counselor, Bartley completed 100 hours of study addressing subjects such as retirement income sources, employer sponsored retirement plans, long-term care planning and income taxes. She also agreed to abide by a comprehensive code of ethics.
