Cancer support group meets
LEWISTON – “Look Good … Feel Better,” the American Cancer Society’s program for assisting women who are faced with appearance changes resulting from cancer treatment, will be offered from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Aug. 15, at Central Maine Medical Center’s Sam and Jennie Bennett Breast Care Center, 12 High Street, Suite 103.

Live music at farmers’ market
LEWISTON – The Lewiston Farmers’ Market will feature live acoustic music performed by Weatherd of Portland on Tuesday, Aug. 14. A cooking demonstration will be hosted by Dore’s Café of Auburn. The market will be open from 2 to 6 p.m. at Kennedy Park near the corner of Bates and Pine streets.
The fourth season offers fresh, locally-grown produce, baked goods, Maine specialty foods, cooking demonstrations, free recipes and food samples and booths with information on health and wellness.
