Two area golfers collected a hole-in-one in recent action.

Competing in the Club Championship Sunday at The Meadows Golf Club at Litchfield, Dana Kierstead shot a hole-in-one on the #11 hole, 162-yards, using a 6-iron. The feat was witnessed by Gerry Landry and Walter Longley.

At Martindale in Auburn, Corey Woodhead notched an ace on the #4 hole, 173-yards, using a 6-iron. Playing partners were Andy Smith, Cory Perry and Marc Paquette.
