LEWISTON – Lewiston Adult Education will conduct a variety of programs to help adults improve their general health and well being. New classes beginning in September include:

“Get Fit!” is a four-week program conducted by a certified personal trainer who will help create a customized fitness plan to meet goals.

“Healthy Skin, Healthy You” is a one-night program to be held at Cassiel’s Day Spa. Find out how to promote the good health of skin and hair.

“Homeopathic First Aid” is a four-week program designed for individuals looking for natural, alternative treatments for general family injuries and illnesses.

“Little Bit of Latin” is a six-week dance class teaching couples the basics of salsa, meringue and cha cha cha.

“Move to the Beat” is a six-week program that uses hip hop dance moves for a high-energy workout.

“Tennis for Beginners” is a six-week class for first-time players and novices looking to improve fundamental skills.

“What’s for Lunch?” is a one-night class looking at quick, easy and healthy options to expand the lunch menu for work or school.

Many other classes and programs featuring exercise, stress management and alternative wellness techniques are also available.
