FARMINGTON – Kaitlyn Bullen scored a pair of goals, including poking one in off a penalty corner at the first-half buzzer, to spark Mt. Blue to an easy 3-0 victory over Brewer in field hockey action Monday.

Mt. Blue outshot the Witches, 40-3, and held a 13-2 advantage in penalty corners. Johanna LaPlant also scored for the Cougars (1-1). Michele Oswald had two assists, while Niki Grant and Devon Jones had one assist each.

Amanda Deschenes stopped three shots for her first career shutout.
