AUBURN – The Twin City Softball Championship Tournament begins tonight at Pettengill Park.

At 6:00, Major Automotive, Auburn Players League runner-up, will be taking on the Ball Busters, American Division winner in the Lewiston Rec Men’s Softball League.

At 7:30, E.S.M., Auburn king, will tangle with Lewiston’s National Division champ, 20-M Club. A coin toss will determine home team.

The second game of each best-of-3 series will take place at Pettengill Wednesday at 6:00 and 7:30.

Should either series be 1-1 after Wednesday, the deciding game(s) is slated for Thursday.

Umpires to meet

LEWISTON – Final meeting of the Andy Valley Softball Umpires’ Association is scheduled for Wednesday Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. at Lewiston Armory. Election of officers is on the agenda.
