Rally Day

DURHAM – The First Congregational Church, UCC, will celebrate Rally Day at 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 9. It will be the first day of Sunday school and a new pastor will be welcomed.

Fortier Chapter

LEWISTON – The Dr. Paul Fortier Chapter 52, Association Canado-Americaine, will gather at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, in the Senior Citizens Room of the Multi-Purpose Center.

Legion to elect

AUBURN – American Legion Post 31 will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, at the post home, 426 Washington St. North.

A special corporation meeting will follow to elect a president. All members of Post 31 make up the corporation.

The annual youth night program will start at 6 p.m. A meal will be served.

Golden Agers

AUBURN – The Sacred Heart Golden Age Club will meet on Tuesday, Sept. 11, at the church. A meal will be served at noon. The menu will include American chop suey, salad, bread and make-your-own sundaes. For reservations, call Paula at 576-4082.

The speaker will be Phoebe Lowell, director of the Catholic Charities SEARCH Program. She will give a short presentation explaining what the program consists of followed by a question-and-answer period. The meeting will be held after the presentation. For more information, call Irene at 782-6443.
