LEWISTON – The Lisbon Street Getty Mart Senior Redskins won their second straight game Sept. 16 in the Auburn-Lewiston Football League for Youth (FLY), a 40-0 victory over the Lions. Kevin St. Pierre, Steve Hinkley, Letavian Sands, Case Thurlow, Derrick Peters and Erik Wilson all scored a TD on the ground. Jeffrey Clark and Wilson converted extra points. Top blockers were Nelson Goyette, Elizabeth Fundis and Brent Freve. St. Pierre, Thurlow and Peters were defensive standouts as the Redskins didn’t allow a first down the entire game. Hinkley intercepted a pass and Ryan Jones contributed a fumble recovery. Playing tough in the loss for the Lions were Devin Bilodeau, Dolor Smith III and Matt Hudson.

The Senior Steelers defeated the Giants.

Junior Division

The Northeast Athletics Junior Redskins also improved to 2-0 with a 14-6 win over Don Morin’s Photo Lions. William Adams, Jr., scored on a long kickoff return and Dante Brooks punched home the winning TD. Playing well for the ‘Skins were Chad Dumais, Mikeal St. Pierre, Chad Hinkley and Chase Tapley. Standouts for the Lions were Sheon James, Legend Edwards and Josh Kobel.

Grimmel’s Gas-Up Junior Giants won their game with the Steelers. Andreas Kariotis, Stone Colby, Nicholas Kelly, Brian Wagg and Dante Harris led the Steelers.
