FARMINGTON – Kiki came to the Franklin County Animal Shelter because her owner did not have enough time for her.

Staff said she is a great cat, full of affection and love. She loves to lie in any vacant sunbeam and would love a warm lap to curl up on during cold nights.

She often plays with shoe laces and toy mice. Sometimes she even plays with imaginary objects that lurk in the corner of her kennel.

Kiki does great with other cats and she loves children. She does not do well with dogs.

New dogs at the shelter include a tan pit bull mix, female from Jay.
