AUBURN – The Corporate and Community Services Department at Central Maine Community College will offer “The Leadership Pickles” (CED 019-01) from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Oct. 16. The cost is $99.
“The Leadership Pickle” teaches managers and supervisors what employees want and need from them as leaders and how “Leadership Pickles” (enthusiasm, confidence and integrity) will motivate employees to achieve great things.
The workshop combines serving others with powerful leadership techniques to create a memorable motivating message for leaders of all kinds.
The workshop will be facilitated by Marylin Newel. She is an executive coach, seminar leader and registered counselor who is the founder of Life Matters in Mechanic Falls.
She began her career in education in 1988 as an adjunct faculty member with what is now Central Maine Community College and with the former Mid-State College. She was the academic dean and campus director at Mid-State for five years.
She served as president at Andover College in Portland and McIntosh College in Dover, N.H. Today, she applies that knowledge to help business owners and managers achieve success through executive coaching.
