TURNER – The wedding of Heidi Sue Lebel and Daniel Joseph Lachapelle was held at 1:30 p.m., July 14, at the Great Outdoors in Turner. Sandra Lebel officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Lachapelle is the daughter of Donald and Terry Lebel of Auburn. Mr. Lachapelle is the son of Joseph and Cheryl Lachapelle of Turner.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Kim Joler, best friend, attended as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kate McKenna, Rebecca Branagan and Susan Thombs, friends. Aili Wood, daughter of a friend, was flower girl.
Serving as best man was a cousin of the bridegroom, Todd Shields. Ushers were Jeff Richardson, cousin of the bridegroom, and Ben Gould, Andrew Allen and William Libby, friends. Ross Wood Jr., son of a friend, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at the Great Outdoors, after which the couple traveled to California. They are residing in Lewiston.
The bride is a 1997 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 2001 graduate of Stonehill College with a bachelor’s degree. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree at the University of Maine at Orono and is a seventh grade teacher in math/science in Windham.
The bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of Leavitt Area High School and is currently pursing a bachelor’s degree at the University of Southern Maine. He is employed as human resources assistant at Tri-County Mental Health Services.
