LEWISTON – Larry and Laurie Chouinard of Lewiston celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary recently with a party held at C.J. Hall in Lewiston. The event was planned by children of the couple, Lea and Logan, and parents of Mrs. Chouinard, Arthur and Helen Hughes.

A picture board was made and wedding pictures were displayed. Toastmasters were Marc Chouinard and Michael Chouinard.

Mr. Chouinard and the former Laurie Hughes were married July 31, 1982, at St. Patrick’s Church in Lewiston. They have two children, Lea, a sophomore at the University of Maine at Orono in the nursing program, and Logan, a junior at Lewiston High School.

Mrs. Chouinard was an insurance underwriter for 13 years, and has been a homemaker the last 12 years.

Mr. Chouinard is general superintendent for Consigli of Portland.

The couple celebrated their anniversary with a cruise last April to the Eastern Caribbean with parents Arthur and Lorraine Chouinard.

Original wedding attendants present were Angela Lemay Reny, maid of honor, Susan Rollock and Nancy Spencer, bridesmaids, Michael Chouinard, best man, and Marc Chouinard, groomsman. Parents of the couple also attended, Arthur and Lorraine Chouinard and Arthur and Helen Hughes.
