LEWISTON – Seven members of the Lewiston Youth Advisory Council will attend the Maine Youth Action Network’s 24th annual Peer Leadership Conference in Bar Harbor next month.

Youth council members who will attend the conference are Luke Jensen, Timothy Stretton, Ray Goulet, Hossain Naji, Holly Lavorgna, Athena Andonaides and Ashley Morgan. Their attendance is being sponsored by Northeast Bank.

“We all have a responsibility to cultivate and inspire our next generation of leaders; that’s why Northeast is proud to sponsor the Lewiston Youth Advisory Council enabling them to represent Lewiston at the upcoming statewide Peer Leadership Conference,” bank President James Delamater said in a prepared statement.

The conference is an initiative of the Maine Youth Action Network, www.myan.org.
