Game buses

RUMFORD – Mt. Valley High School will offer fan buses to the football game with Cape Elizabeth High School on Friday, Oct. 26. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve a seat, go to the school office with payment.

Cost is grades kindergarten to 12, $2; adults, $5. Game tickets must be bought at the gate. The bus will not stop on the way to the game. Any grades kindergarten to 12 student must be accompanied by an adult chaperone.

Any person who does not plan to return on the bus must have a note signed by their parent. Otherwise, riders must ride back on the same bus.

To send one bus they must have 40 fans; to send two buses they need 80 fans.

Spaghetti supper

DIXFIELD – The Oxford County Democrats will have a spaghetti supper starting at 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, with a social hour; supper at 5:30 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, Main Street. Tickets at the door are $5, and they may be reserved by calling 364-4201.

Haunted walk

ANDOVER – Andover will host its third Haunted Halloween Walk on Saturday, Oct. 27. Costumed tour guides will lead small groups throughout the evening through the dark woods behind Martin’s Sales and Service, formerly Andover Automotive, Main Street.

There is free parking at the tennis court. Cost is $3 a person and proceeds will benefit the Andover School fifth grade class.
