HARRISON – Hannah F. Richardson Tent 19, Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, met Sept. 26 at the home of Ken and Gail Butterfield.

It was noted there was a reception in honor of the incoming president of the Department of Maine, Helvi Carey, on Oct. 14 at the Grange Hall in Bryant Pond.

Tent 19 will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, at the home of Marilyn Jones in Norway. There will be nomination for new officers at that time.

Tent 19 will sell refreshments in front of Pike’s Store in Norway during the Christmas parade on Saturday, Nov. 24.

The tent will fill Christmas stockings again this year to be sent to service men and women overseas. Donations welcome.

The Christmas chowder supper and meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, at the home of Marilyn Jones in Norway.
