PARIS – The U.S. Small Business Administration will hold a First-Stop Business Information seminar Thursday at the Western Maine University and Community College Center.

The seminar begins at 6 p.m. and will last for two hours.

The seminar will address federal, state and regional programs available to small businesses.

According to public information officer Bonnie Erickson, the seminar is for individuals looking to start a small business or who own one.

“Instead of calling 16 people and finding out where to start, you can go to this seminar,” Erickson said.

The seminar will be followed by a question-and-answer period.

The event is free and open to the public, although people wishing to attend must pre-register by calling Patricia Knowles at 623-8376, or go online to www.sba.gov/me. Erickson said registrations will be accepted until Thursday morning.
