PARIS – The Children’s Room of the Paris Public Library offers a weekly story-time to toddlers and preschoolers at 10 a.m. Thursdays. Each week features stories, crafts and related activities, based on a weekly theme.

Programs in November include:

Nov. 1: “Who’s a Snowbird and Who’s Not.”

Nov. 8: “Who was First to Give Thanks and Why.”

Nov. 15: “Have a Hand Turkey Thanksgiving.”

Nov. 29: “Guess When it will Snow.”

The library will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22, in celebration of Thanksgiving. The weekly programs seek to instill an appreciation for reading and literature, provide an opportunity for social interaction among families and provide fun.

The programs, which last about an hour, are free and do not require any preregistration.
