WRONG MEETING DAY LISTED — The Oxford County Commissioners hold their regular meetings at 9 a.m. on the third Tuesday of the month at their office. An earlier version of a story that appeared on the Web and on page B3 Thursday in the Oxford Hills edition was incorrect.


PARIS – County commissioners are taking their show on the road with evening meetings on the first Tuesday of the month to better include the public.

On Dec. 4, the session will be at the Rumford Municipal Building conference room, and on Feb. 5, it’ll be at the American Legion hall on Bradley Street in Fryeburg. Both meetings are at 5 p.m.

There will be no evening meeting Jan. 2.

On Oct. 2, the commissioners met at 5 p.m. at their office in Paris.

The evening sessions will rotate among the three sites in Rumford, Fryeburg and Paris.

The commission will continue its traditional meeting of 9 a.m. on the third Tuesday of the month at their office in the Oxford County Courthouse on Western Avenue.
