SABATTUS -Five candidates, including a pair of incumbents, will compete Tuesday for two open seats on the Board of Selectmen.

Incumbents Mark Duquette and Paul Wayne Loesberg will face challengers Paul Gagne, Andre Marquis and Stephen Wood.

There are no other contests in the town election Tuesday, Nov. 6. The school board and the sanitary/water district each have one candidate for one position. The budget committee needs six people, there are only two candidates on the ballot. The remaining four positions will go to write-in candidates.
