LEWISTON – The Lewiston Department of Recreation announces its 2007-08 Co-Ed Winter Basketball League.

Micros (Grades 2-3) and Midgets (Grades 4-6) will play Saturdays, Nov. 17 through Feb. 23. Juniors (Grades 7-8) and Seniors (Grades 9-10) take the court Sundays from Dec. 2 to March 2. Games will be played at Lewiston Memorial Armory, 65 Central Ave.

Cost of the Co-Ed Winter program is $45 for residents and $55 for non-residents. A t-shirt is included. Register now by visiting the Rec Department at the Armory during regular business hours.

Auburn Rec hoop sign-ups next week

AUBURN – Sign-up for the Auburn Recreation Youth Basketball League will be held next week, Nov. 5-9, at the Rec Office.

The program is open to girls and boys in Grades 1-8, and high school students who do not participate in school basketball. Fee is $40 for residents and $50 for non-residents. For more information, call 784-0191.
