This is in reference to “Listen up adults” (Oct. 28.). Josh Gagne is apparently a victim of the left-wing socialist/Democrat brainwashing occurring in our government schools. He conveniently omits parts of the Constitution that make his case null and void. If he was really an expert about the Constitution, he would realize the “general welfare” clause does not mean it as he states.
But to socialists like himself, its always “the kids, oh, the poor kids.” Well, that’s fine, but I am sick and tired of paying for everybody else’s kids! Nobody paid for me when I was bringing up my kids. I had to work!
Gagne complains about President Bush vetoing the SCHIP bill, but fails to say why. It was vetoed because the Socialists/Democrats wanted to include kids whose parents make $80,000 a year. That’s why.
If they had taken that part out, it might have passed!
And if you’re going to have a war, you have to fund it. Gagne says a majority of Americans oppose it, which is highly debatable, since more than half the country votes conservative!
Gagne should rest assured that I will fight until I’m dead and gone to keep this country conservative and live under the real U.S. Constitution, not the fake one he cites.
