What is going on with Sen. Susan Collins and Sen. Olympia Snowe? They both voted for an extension of benefits in the State Children’s Health Insurance Program and other benefits for illegal immigrants. They are supporting the Democratic leaders on that insurance program and a conditional path to citizenship for illegal immigrants.
There are legal immigrants waiting years for citizenship who are getting slapped in the face by the Democratic leaders, and by Collins and Snowe.
I know a lot of people who are saying they will not vote for Collins or Snowe anymore.
I believe the senators have turned their backs on legal immigrants.
I’m thankful votes in Congress fell short on both issues – S-CHIP and driver licenses for illegal immigrants.
