Dear Sun Spots: The Auburn Middle School Drama Club is preparing its next production, “65 Mustang,” a comedy centered around one unique car and all its crazy owners over five decades. We would love to be able to take some pictures of our actors with a real 1965(ish) Mustang, convertible even, as part of our publicity.

Dear Sun Spots: I recently went to the SPCA to check what they had available for pets. One thing I saw were signs stating they were very low on their supplies of cat litter. I will certainly pick some up at the store and donate it. I hope this letter will also motivate others to consider picking up a bag or two and donating it to the shelter. It is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Fridays by appointment only, and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Its wish list includes Pedigree and Purina food for dogs, Meowmix for cats, towels, litter, paper towels, bleach, light bulbs any toys.
