RUMFORD – The Rumford Lodge of Elks No. 862 and Rumford Parks hosted their annual NFL Pepsi Punt, Pass & Kick competition recently at Hosmer Field. It was open to all area boys and girls ages 8 to 15, with a delegation of more than 50 parents and friends cheering on the participants.

Competitors had a chance to showcase their skills at passing, punting and kicking the football, with scores based on distance and accuracy. First, second and third-place finishers in each age group received a medal, and all participants received a certificate of recognition.

First-place winners advanced to the sectional competition, also to be held in Rumford.

Results were as follows:



Girls 8-9:
1. Emily Laubauskas, 2. Kaitlyn Radcliffe.

Boys 8-9: 1. Riley Robinson, 2. Clay Swett, 3. Cooper Chiasson.

Boys 10-11: 1. Tyler Frost, 2. Timothy Fitzgerald, 3. Matthew Irish.

Girls 12-13: 1. Christine Briggs, 2. Brooke Dolloff, 3. Shannon Laubauskas.

Boys 12-13: 1. Ryan Nicols, 2. Justin Milligan, 3. Steven Letarte.

Girls 14-15: 1. Tia White.

Boys 14-15: 1. Ryan Laubauskas, 2. Tyler Chiasson, 3. Zachary Radcliffe.
