FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) – A Foxborough woman is in police custody after she allegedly drove her car through a gate and onto the New England Patriots practice field.

Cheryl Richards, 41, faces a host of charges including malicious destruction of property and assault and battery on a police officer.

Police say Richards was denied entry to the team’s facility moments before she allegedly drove through a gate, onto the team’s indoor practice field.

No one was injured. Richards is being held for observation at Norwood Hospital.
