RUMFORD – The River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition has hired Steve Casey of Dixfield as its youth advocacy program coordinator. He will serve as a liaison to schools and community groups within the RVHCC local service area, working on health issues to include tobacco, physical activity, nutrition and substance abuse.

Casey is a native of the area.

Casey’s background includes private school administration, supervisory experience as a safety professional, research, program development and marketing.
