DURHAM – The wedding of Angelique Rae Howarth and Victor Michael Markey was held at 2 p.m. June 11 at the Shiloh Chapel in Durham. Tina Lord, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Markey is the daughter of Robert and Ruth Howarth of Lisbon. Mr. Markey is the grandson of Bradford and Margaret Stevens of Auburn. His parents are deceased.

The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a satin gown with white and lavender trim with lace-up corset back and a chapel train. All the women attending the wedding received a lavender rose.

The best friend of the bride, Torrie Weeks, was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Sandra Palmer and Alysha Lord, best friends. Heather Cote, best friend’s daughter, and April Stevens, niece, were flower girls.

A brother of the bridegroom, Joseph Stevens, performed the duties of best man. Ushers were Michael Mussolff, family friend, and Matthew Howarth, brother-in-law. Jacob Stevens, nephew, was the ring bearer.

A reception followed at the Shiloh Chapel fellowship hall, after which the couple traveled to Disney World in Florida. They are residing in Canton.

The bride is working on her bachelor’s degree in health care management and is employed at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia.

The bridegroom is pursuing his associate degree in business management. He is currently working with the U.S. Air Force stationed at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia, and is also a real estate investor in Western Maine.
