The seventh-annual Maine High School Hockey Invitational is scheduled for Dec. 26-29 at four venues: Portland Ice Arena, Travis Roy Arena, Family Ice Arena and Biddeford Ice Arena.

This year’s tournament features 44 of the best public high school, private high school and prep school hockey teams from along the East Coast and Canada. Eighteen of Maine’s best high school teams will be participating, including reigning Class A champion Biddeford.

Out-of-state participants include teams from Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, New Brunswick (Canada), Nova Scotia (Canada), Quebec (Canada) and Ontario (Canada).
