LEWISTON – The second annual Lewiston High School Swim Team alumni meet is scheduled for Friday, December 28, and had renamed in honor of late LHS swimmer Shannon Fortier.

Warm-ups will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the YWCA on East Avenue.

Fortier tragically lost her life in a plane crash in June 2006. She had a thoughtful presence about her that touched all her teammates. The alumni meet, where any former Lewiston High School swimmer may participate in an evening of camaraderie and competitive swimming, is a wonderful way for Shannon’s teammates to continue to gather and support her memory for years to come.
