FREEPORT – The wedding of Bethany Hochstaetter and Matthew Dunn was held Aug. 25 at Winslow Park in Freeport. Brian Ganong officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Dunn is the daughter of Robert and Karen Hochstaetter of New Holland, Pa. Mr. Dunn is the son of Jim and Lorraine Dunn of Lisbon Falls.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Sandra Tritt of New Carlisle, Pa., friend of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Megan Barbato of Portsmouth, R.I., Jessica Busch of Deposit, N.Y., Sarah Strobridge of Richmond, Va., Katie Dunn of Lisbon Falls, and Brittany Hochstaetter of Garner, N.C.

Serving as best man for his friend was Dave Nickell. Ushers were Jeffrey Ganong of Lisbon, Jonathan Schmid of Taylor Mill, Ky., Christopher Artigas of Union, Ohio, Peter Hochstaetter of Garner, N.C., and Benjamin Michael of Phenix City, Ala.

A reception followed at Winslow Park in Freeport, after which the couple traveled to Key West, Fla.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree in nursing at Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio. She is employed at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.

The bridegroom received a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication from Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio. He is a firefighter/paramedic with the Cincinnati Fire Department.
