The Auburn-Lewiston YMCA fifth and sixth-grade boys’ basketball travel team continued its winning ways with a 44-34 win over Waterville. ‘Y’ improved to 6-1 with the victory. Cameron Cormier paced the balanced attack with nine points. Nathan Alexander added eight, with Corey Henderson, Llewelyn Jensen and Andrew Gosselin chipping in six apiece. Ian Mileikis delivered four, while Bryce Gibson, Steve Ouellette and Luke Sterling each contributed two.

‘Y’ faces potentially its toughest challenge of the season when it hosts undefeated Augusta at 1 p.m. Saturday at Central Maine Community College.
