A landmark at 295 Lake Road in Norway has changed hands. Bobby Lehmkuhl of Malibu, Calif., fulfilled his childhood dream when he purchased the Norway Lake Marina and Boat Slips. Tenants include Bouchard Karate School, AVESTA Housing and Oxford Hills Realty. Former owner Mike Morin purchased the property from his father’s estate in 2002. In the years following, Morin continuously improved the land and buildings and operated Norway Lake Marina and Boat Slips during the summer months. In earlier years, the location housed Bob Morin’s Furniture Center and Snow’s Marina. Lehmkuhl grew up in the area and owns a summer home on Route 117 near the Lake Store. He plans to significantly expand the marina operations by this summer. The business will be known as Norway Lake Marina dba Keller’s Place (named after Bobby’s young daughter). Shown at the closing are, from left, David Dow of Dow’s Law Office, Bob Kimball from Smith & Kimball P.A., Lehmkuhl, Morin, Jack Day from Norway Savings Bank, and Helga Thurston of Paris Cape Realty.
