OSSIPEE, N.H. (AP) – Two people headed out to the Great Rotary Fishing Derby on Lake Ossipee ended up in the hospital instead after their snowmobile crashed through the ice.

Authorities say other fishermen were able to pull one victim out quickly after the Saturday morning crash, but the other person went underwater several times before being rescued. Both were taken to Huggins Hospital in Wolfeboro for treatment of hypothermia.
