WILTON – A free, three-week class for anyone interested in starting a business is being offered here starting March 6. The Basics of Starting a Business is a project of the Maine Centers for Women, Work, and Community and the Women’s Business Center at Coastal Enterprises, Inc.

The course will answer questions, discuss pros and cons of being an entrepreneur, and help participants take the first steps. The class covers basics of a business plan, marketing, cash planning and is suitable for people thinking about or in the early startup phase of a new business.

Preregistration is required. Workshop sessions will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on March 6, 13 and 20 at the Wilton CareerCenter.
