LIVERMORE FALLS – The wedding of Erin Rose Pelletier and Michael Joseph Morrell was held June 23 at the First Baptist Church in Livermore Falls. The Irish wedding was performed by the Rev. John Hall.
The gold and silver wedding bands exchanged at the double ring ceremony were hand-crafted in Ireland, and were adorned with Celtic knots. Traditional instrumental Irish music included “Harvest Moon Jig” and “Crowley’s Reel.”
The bride’s gown featured a dropped waistline and a full skirt with tulle overlay. The bodice and spaghetti straps were embellished with beadwork and her 10-foot veil floated into a train. She carried a bouquet of peach roses, daisies and ivy. Tucked in her bouquet was her “something old,” a silk carnation from a floral arrangement for her late father in 1985.
The matron of honor was Casey Minoty of Ft. Polk, La., and maid of honor was Ashley Pelletier of Okeechobee, Fla., sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Hannah Pelletier of Livermore and Brittany Frailey of Fayette, cousins of the bride, and Danielle Gauthier of Litchfield, Davina Shink of Rumford and Ann Marie Maheux of Orono, friends. Junior bridesmaids were Taylar Frailey of Fayette, cousin, Shyanne Turner of Fayette, stepsister, and Ashley Morrell of Jay, niece. Vivianne Minoty of Ft. Polk, La., was the flower girl for her aunt.

The reception was held at the AMVETS Hall in Jay. The four-tiered hexagon shaped cake was made by Becky Pelletier, grandmother of the bride. It featured a porcelain top and fresh flowers matching those in the bride’s bouquet.
The couple honeymooned at the Inn at Evergreen in Stoneham.
