HEBRON – The Hebron Academy Middle School Players will present the comedies “The Unfinished” and “Mother Goosed” at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 29, and Saturday, March 1. The performances are free and open to the public.

“The Unfinished,” by Alan Haehnel, chronicles the stories of The Writer’s characters who wait in limbo, hoping that The Writer will continue creating their lives and eventually allow them to exit her mind and move on to the larger world.

Something unprecedented is happening in Fairytale Land in “Mother Goosed,” by Jason Pizzarello. The nursery rhyme characters are revolting against their stories, and the local news anchors are there to tell the tales.

The plays are directed by parents Carolyn Fensore of New Gloucester and Patricia Phillips of Auburn, assisted by French teacher Cynthia Marsden. The cast is made up of 21 students from Auburn, Gray, New Gloucester, Minot, Raymond, Poland, Norway, Casco and Hebron.

The comedies will be staged in Lepage Lecture Hall in the Treat science building. Parking will be available in the Robinson Arena lot, just off Route 119 on the Hebron campus.

For more information, call 966-2100, or visit the school’s Web site at www.hebronacademy.org.
