Incident Report Statistics

Between Wednesday Feb. 20 at 7 a.m. to Friday Feb. 22 at 7 a.m. this department has responded to 189 calls for service. Of those calls, 41 of them were motor vehicle stops.

Thefts

Sometime between 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 20 and 7 a.m. on Feb. 21 several hundred feet of 2-4 gauge insulated copper wire was stolen from two large machines in the yard of Thompson Machinery on Lisbon Street. The wire was attached to a large dirt screener and a generator. The suspects also entered the large enclosed tent and removed two 2-gauge welding leads that were over 100 feet long.

Criminal Mischief

A mailbox at 81 Merrill Road was smashed with a baseball bat overnight Feb. 20-21.

Custom Laminates at 68 Whipple St. was tagged with graffiti overnight Feb. 21-22.

Burglaries

An office at 500 Main St. was burglarized overnight Feb. 19-20. Entry was gained by forcing the rear door. The office was ransacked but nothing was missing.

A trailer at Creative Glass, 25 Middle St. was burglarized overnight Feb. 21-22. Entry was gained by breaking a padlock.

Motor Vehicle Theft

A black 1993 Ford F-150 Step Side, Extended Cab – ME REG 5656KG was left in the parking lot behind Pub 33 with the owner’s permission after it had broken down. The truck was seen on Friday night but was gone by Saturday morning. A witness reports seeing the vehicle being removed by a wrecker, however all the major tow companies have been checked with and do not have the vehicle on file.

Operating After Suspension Arrests

Brian Coolidge, 40, was charged with theft by unauthorized taking, operating after suspension and leaving the scene of a property damage accident on Feb. 20 at 6:54 a.m. at 5 Suncrest Ave.

Mark Connor, 23, was charged with operating while license suspended and failing to stop for an officer on Feb. 20 at 8:08 p.m. at Horton and Pine streets.

Patrick Moreau, 39, was charged with being habitual motor vehicle offender on Feb. 20 at 10:08 p.m. at Sabattus and College streets following a routine traffic stop.

Jerry Hansen, 28, was charged with being a habitual motor vehicle offender on Feb. 21 at 7:34 p.m. at Bartlett and Walnut streets following a routine traffic stop.

Operating Under the Influence Arrests

Alfred Bolduc, 51, was charged with operating under the influence, criminal speed, operating while license suspended and displaying suspended license on Feb. 22 at 1 a.m. at Bartlett Street and East Avenue following a routine traffic stop.

Travis Soule, 43, was charged with operating under the influence and operating a vehicle without a license on Feb. 22 at 2:57 a.m. at Main Street and Island Avenue following a routine traffic stop.
