DURHAM – Three Lisbon Falls residents escaped injury Wednesday morning in a rollover on Newell Brook Road.

Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Sgt. Jim Jacques said Dan Greer, 44, was driving west on Newell Brook Road, which is Route 9, when he lost control of his SUV in slush as he was rounding a curve. The SUV went off the right shoulder and rolled over into a ditch.

Greer and his passenger, Debbie Smith, 45, were wearing seat belts and were not hurt. Neither was an 18-month-old boy in a car seat.

The 1994 Chevrolet Blazer was totaled in the 9:35 a.m. crash, Jacques said.
