There are many ways to prevent the flu from spreading. But preventing yourself from becoming a victim of it is another story! The flu can come in many different ways, and can affect people differently. Some people may experience a high fever, while others have the stomach flu. The stomach flu is the one most people fear, the sick days taken from work or school, the long nights and frequent trips to the hospital. They all come with it.

The best way to keep yourself from getting the stomach flu, is to not get too carried away when thinking about it. If you think you’re getting it, then your mind will think you have it. Which in some cases causes a panic, and you cause yourself to be more susceptible to the flu. With the many disinfectants and chemicals we have, unless you are around people who are sick, you should be fine.

Also remember if you have the flu for an excessive amount in time, you should go see a doctor; that’s just common sense!
