Thefts
A resident of 130 Horton St. has experienced numerous thefts of bicycle parts within the past several weeks.
Criminal Mischief
An apartment at 28 Horton St. was shot out by a BB gun sometime overnight Feb. 26-27.
The Chestnut St. side of Bates Mill No. 2 was tagged with graffiti overnight Feb. 27-28.
A parking garage post at the Bates Mill complex was tagged with graffiti overnight Feb. 27-28.
The CMMC parking garage was tagged with graffiti overnight Feb. 27-28.
The parking gates at the Centerville parking garage were broken overnight Feb. 28-29.
The annex building to Andover College at 430 Lisbon St. was tagged with graffiti overnight Feb. 28-29.
The gates at the Chestnut Street parking garage were broken overnight Feb. 29-March 1.
A vehicle was shot by BBs while driving down Lafayette Street on March 1 at 9:13 p.m.
FX Marcotte at 132 Lincoln St. was tagged with graffiti overnight March 1-2.
A vehicle parked at 87 Lincoln St. was shot with a BB overnight March 1-2.
Burglaries
An apartment window at 149 Pierce St. was burglarized after 3 p.m. on March 2. A room in the basement was forcefully entered; the suspect discharged a fire extinguisher and did damage to the electrical panel. A suspect was discovered in one of the apartments who had shoes which matched tracks left in the extinguisher discharge. James Barbioni, 24, was arrested and charged with burglary, criminal mischief and violating conditions of release.
On March 2 at 12:43 a.m., officers responded to 343 Sabattus St. for a report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, they discovered that the front entry door had been kicked in. The resident reports that a white male, 6-feet tall, medium build, approximately 20 years old and wearing dark clothing broke into the apartment wielding a broom stick. He swung at the female tenant, who managed to deflect the blow and was then chased out of the apartment by a male roommate. The suspect was not recognized, an area search yielded no suspects of similar description.
Forgery
On Feb. 29 at 10:03 a.m., a male suspect attempted to pass a stolen and forged check at the Central Maine Federal Credit Union at 1000 Lisbon St. A suspect has been identified and he is responsible for several similar thefts in the York County area to include Arundel, Biddeford, Wells and Kennebunk. Warrants are being sought for his arrest.
Counterfeit
On March 1 at 4:56 p.m., a customer attempted to pass a counterfeit $100 dollar bill at Elizabeth Ann’s at 415 Sabattus St.
Aggravated Assault Arrest
Joshua Buteau, 20, was charged with aggravated assault on March 2 at 4:47 p.m. at Sparetime Recreation at 18 Mollison Way. Officers responded for a reported fight which occurred inside the building. Upon arrival they found the victim suffering from a dislocated shoulder.
Operating After Suspension Arrests
Brandon Jennings, 22, was charged with operating while license suspended on Feb. 27 at 9:01 a.m. at 248 Main St. following a routine traffic stop.
Mark Fenlon, 40, was charged with operating after suspension and permitting attachment of false plates on Feb. 27 at 8:35 p.m. at 322 Webster St. following a routine traffic stop.
Assamahvi Koumou-Nete, 21, was charged with operating while license suspended on Feb. 28 at 9:56 p.m. at Sabattus and Russell streets following a routine traffic stop.
Operating Under the Influence Arrests
Dennis Schrepper, 57, was charged with operating under the influence on Feb. 28 at 9:37 p.m. at 207 Lincoln St. following a routine traffic stop.
